SSC GD 2020 Exam will be held to appoint eligible candidates for the post of constable in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen. The recruitment process comprises of four stages namely:

a) Physical Standard Test (PST)
b) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 
c) Computer-based test  
d) Medical test.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SSC GD.

Educational Qualification for SSC CGD :

Candidates who have to apply for GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen) should have passed 10th class or equivalent from affiliated board.

Age Limit of SSC GD: 

Candidate should be between 18 to 23 years to apply for SSC GD 2020 Exam. Those who belong to reserved categories will have age relaxation benefit. The age limit will be calculated with reference to 01/08/2020.

Exam Pattern of SSC GD 2020

SSC GD 2020 Exam will be held in three main phases:

  • Written examination (Computer Based)

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • Physical Standard Test (PST)

The test will be having multiple choice questions with four sections with 25 questions in each section. Each question will carry 1 mark. Wrong answers will be given a negative marking with as much as 0.25 marks for every error committed.
