IB ACIO 2020 Salary & Job Profile

Salary: The pay scale of IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) is Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-. Apart from the basic pay, there will also be special security allowance and other allowances based on the area of posting.

Job Profile: IB ACIO is a very unpredictable job with All India Service liability. The basic job roles involve the collection of secret information, Vigilance on Terrorist, dealing with any kind of crisis situation, keeping track of issues, and intelligence collection in border areas.

IB ACIO Eligibility Criteria 2020

Before applying for the post, candidates will have to check the IB ACIO 2020 eligibility criteria. Candidates must meet these eligibility criteria failing which will lead to the cancellation of the candidature. The various IB ACIO eligibility 2020 are listed as follows:

Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian national.

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 18 years and the upper age limit is 27 years. Besides that, there is also provision for relaxation in the upper age limit of candidates as per the rules. Check the category wise relaxation in the upper age limit from the table below:

Besides that, there is also a provision of age relaxation for Persons ordinarily domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 and for children and dependents of victims of communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat as per the government instructions.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be a graduate from a recognized university on or before the closing date of application.

Other Eligibilities: Candidates need to have a working knowledge of computers. Candidates belonging to the Physically Handicapped category (PWD -Category) are not eligible for the posts.

    IB ACIO written exam is conducted in two stages. The Tier – I exam will be Objective type and the Tier – II will be Descriptive type.
